A retro rocket ship is always a fascination for a lot of kids. Even we can remember being young and dreaming of flying out of the earth to go to Mars and see if there are little green men living there. The great thing about playing rocket ships with your kids, especially the ones that come from before, is that the child can let their own imagination grow on like picturing the places where the rocket ship goes.
Unlike the kind of toys that are already high tech and sophisticated, the good old rocket ship is still perfect in allowing children to come up with stories of their own.
Doing things with your children allows you to bond with them and be closer as they grow older. There are a lot of options that you can choose to be able to enjoy your time with them. You can go to museums, play ball, or just talk about silly things. A good addition to that would be that they will be able to share freely the things that happened in their day within your home. Playing with a rocket ship with them is a classic example of bonding that has been going on for a long time. There is a fancy with these things especially with a lot of movies that are depicting men going to the outer space and discovering new undiscovered territories in the universe.
But a parent must remember that bonding with the child has limitations. You should not disturb them in times like studying, or when they are having a quiet conversation with their friends. Always remember that everybody, even our child needs their own personal space and privacy.
You just have to do your best to gain the trust of your child at the same time not allowing them to abuse your position as a parent. But how will you ever get this done? Some ways are: talking with your child when they have a hard day from school, or being telling them that you are always a person to talk to with whatever experience that they have encountered in the day.
This doesn't mean that you have to force them to confide with you, just relate to them that you can always be somebody welcoming them with open arms and that you care.
Remember that how you raise up your child will also affect how they will raise their offspring in the future so always be kind but teach them the lessons of being a good human being, even with just playing with a retro rocket ship.
