I do it already

There is perhaps nothing more rewarding than being a parent. It 's amazing, I watched a small child unable to grow, the beautiful gurgling noise, eating and filling diapers angry in a young adult. My son has recently joined to fifteen years, and with a teenage son, is like trying to navigate a minefield, blindfolded, with a tray of teacups and delicate porcelain trying to Jitterbug. Injuries and accidents are inevitable. The trick, as I am slowly discovering, is to maintainDamage to a minimum.

As I study his face now, I can not see a kid, I see companies chin and piercing eyes of a determined young man. Although at this stage I did not quite know what it is fully established.

Until recently it was the cleanest of all individuals. He prided himself on keeping everything clean and tidy. He would fold the clothes and put them away in an orderly manner and that Martha Stewart would be ashamed. In his room was allin their place were neatly stacked books in their CD covers, made my bed with ... I can not say, put it in the exact time of dramatic change, but boy, boy-change.

Now make the bed is made up of the covers pulled up on the rumpled sheets, means putting away the clothes, pushed for better or worse in the closets. Clean up your room means all tucked under his bed. Should I continue?

Of course it always gets caught in hindsight, and what follows after a while 'Eye rolling and muttering softly is a busy do it again. Two of the sentence, which is still in his repertoire, "I was going to do," or the long-running "I do it already." It seems that every time he is doing what he was reminded of these lines back violently burned. L 'Another day he was playing video games and I asked him if he had cleaned his cage, rabbit, "I'm here," he said, looking confused. "No, not yours," I shot back, I didhad made a mistake. "I just said, the rabbit in a few minutes I will often have been warned." He replied in disgust, as if he could not know, that. What I say?

Some years ago, her sense of fashion was conservative and wanted to melt into a crowd. Now, thinner and narrower jeans are the happiest and he is the strongest and most hideous jersey color, the better. We're going to Maui in a few weeks and I wanted to buy him a nice platitude HawaiiT-shirts for the scheduled Luau. He went straight for the green jersey brightest I've ever seen.

However, I believe I have to say that he needed a big guy, and I am proud as punch of him. E 'A and B is always appointed in high school and also his English teacher for Special Achievement Award is a great honor, since only a small percentage of students are awarded this.

Obviously, it is strictly just one of my best moves. I try to maintain a firm and orderlyaccess to him, but sometimes in one of my many readings, I do not feel heavy for me. Recently, we discovered that he explored caves and tunnels carved into a nearby stream. He came home covered in mud a few times and then I discovered with a flashlight. I found myself saying ... "If you think you are one of the Goonies?" Of course, my wife started to laugh, and then came to my son then, as I attempt to keep a stern face, I started. But I could giggle my number on it that did not wait for a variety of reasons, and rattlesnakes and other animals as safe under such conditions. He got the job and, to my knowledge, has yet to go exploring again.

And I suppose that if I was his age, I was like him ... were not we all? I'm sure I thought I knew everything, and that my father was in contact with the younger generation. Maybe it was not as clear as I could, I dressed completely inwhite and my father's great disgust, and I certainly played my music too loud. The question that I have all the right mouse button so I guess that shot should not worry.

It 's just a phase, that the vast majority of young people seem to go through and I know the age of fifteen years, things will get worse before better. The best I can get is damage control, hold, to love, to continue to listen to him and most of all we think and believe in him, never, never lose your temper and say what I wantlater regret.

But as a father is the greatest thing in the world, and the day is never boring passes.
